Direct thermographic printed

IDEAL FOR EDGE-TO-EDGE PRINTING
Indirect thermographic printers
- Indirect printers are ideal for high quality edge-to-edge printing
- The resolution can reach up to 600 dpi and takes place through thermal re-transfer (or indirect transfer) by returning the graphics on a transparent film which in a second step is applied hot on the plastic paper. Ideal for non-planar surfaces such as in the case of ContactLess cards

EDIsecure® XID8100 is the perfect solution for the daily personalization of all types of plastic cards / identification badges. Thermal retransfer printing technology enables edge-to-edge full-back printing without leaving any margin on the paper edge. The basic configuration of the EDIsecure® XID8100 allows the printing of only one side of the card (single side), but thanks to its modularity it is possible to subsequently add the various options available.

EDIsecure® XID8300 is a modular retransfer printer developed to meet different industrial needs, therefore it is supplied with various optional modules such as flip over, bend remedy and various coding modules. The experience gained and the knowledge of XID retransfer technology makes the printer ready for plug and play and in-line integration with coding and lamination modules. With its compact size, the printer offers the right combination of reliability, performance and affordability for printing on a wide range of plastic card materials, (PVC, ABS, PET, hybrid cards and even Polycarbonate). The print quality is comparable to that obtained with offset printing even on the irregular surfaces of smart cards.
XL8300

Matica’s new EDIsecure® XL8300is an innovative retransfer printer specialized in printing oversized cards for use in the event management sector. It is capable of printing up to 128 cards per hour. The contactless encoding module is available as an option and like the rest of the XID Series 8 family, the EDIsecure® XL8300 also has a high print quality.
